D-Foot International Community
Electric Effect and D-Foot International (D-Foot), two organizations that are engaged with the dissemination of clinical and scientific research information to professionals, today announced they are working together to create and grow the world’s first online community to focus on the challenges of managing diabetic foot disease. This collaboration will lead to the creation of an online community “D-Foot International Community” where the disparate components of D-Foot can interact and permit knowledge transfer more efficiently. The D-Foot International Community will connect the many members within the organisation both globally and regionally. The community will provide the ability to present information globally for access by the many members. Through this collaboration, Electric Effect and D-Foot International see the opportunity to strengthen each organizations’ mission and provide greater opportunities for D-Foot International to deliver high-quality resources to professionals around the world and grow organisationally to support additional educational and research programs in the future. About D-Foot International D-Foot International is a registered international non-profit association promoting the global profile of diabetic foot prevention and care through awareness, guidance, education, research and professional development. D-Foot International is organised into seven regions. Find out more about key D-Foot International events, webinars, and other content at www.d-foot.org |

COVID-19 Portal
A public commercial community where members review peer articles as they relate to COVID19. Electric Effect has been working with Dr. Douglas Queen and Professor Keith Harding on the new COVID-19 portal as part of the International Wound Community HUB. We have gleaned peer content and patient content from around the globe to help explain what COVID-19 is, best practices to avoid contamination, impact on wound care, peer content, emerging technologies, and resources to help you better understand the global impact of COVID-19. |
